I have finally decided to do a blog. This will be mainly for my travels but may contain other posts if I feel I have something to share. Don't know if anyone will read this but it is more for me to just document my traveling.
I am getting ready to head to Europe with my dear friend, Brenda. We are going on a tour with a former pastor of her church. Our main objective on the tour is to see the Passion Play that is put on every 10 years in Oberammergau, Germany. We will also be touring Austria, Swizterland, and Germany. It is an 11 day tour. I am so excited! We leave in 3 days!! Last year we went with her pastor on a tour of Israel and Egypt - it was fantastic! We have decided that we would like to go on a trip together each year - trading off who decides where we will go. Sounds like a plan to me!! After I blog about this year's European trip, I will blog about our trip from last year to Israel and Egypt. Brenda and I are also going to her cabin in Canada for a week in August/September.
My husband and I also have 3 trips planned for the remainder of the year. In July we are going to go explore Door County in northeastern Wisconsin. In October we are going to Sleepy Hollow, New York (around Halloween). In December we are going to Port Aransas, TX. We will be there over the holidays. My folks spend 3-4 months there each winter in their RV. So we will get to spend the holiday with them.
As you can see we LOVE to travel!! So I hope you enjoy reading about my/our travels and seeing the pictures of places we have been.
